AHRM Inc. respects the individual privacy of our customers, business associates,
patients and clinical trial participants.
While we collect, and are provided with, personal information regarding individuals,
we have taken great care to create a secure and safe environment to protect this
information in a manner consistent with the laws of the countries in which we do
business as well as in our contractual agreements with customers.
Notice:
All individuals from whom we are collecting data will be notified regarding the
purposes for which we collect data, on whose behalf we collect the data, and how
the data will be used. All individuals
may be provided with contact information for AHRM Inc. and/or the third party
organization to which the information may be disclosed.
Choice:
AHRM Inc. will seek permission for data collection and give individuals the
opportunity to refused such data collection whether their personal information
will be disclosed to a third party or used for a purpose incompatible with the
purpose for which is was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the
individual.
Transfers to Third Parties:
AHRM Inc. will obtain assurances from its third parties that they will safeguard
the personal information in a manner consistent with this Policy. This may be done by assurances (contractual) that the
third party adheres to relevant principles such as the Privacy Act of 1974 and
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability
Act of 1996 (HIPAA) or relevant Safe Harbor Principles.
Access:
Individuals will be given the opportunity to correct, amend or delete
information where it is inaccurate at the time of data collection and, upon
request; AHRM Inc. will grant
individuals reasonable access to personal information that it holds about them.
Security:
AHRM Inc. will take reasonable precautions to protect personal information from
loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
Data Integrity:
All personal information collected by AHRM Inc. will by used only in ways that are relevant for
the purposes for which it was collected. Reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that data are
reliable for their intended use, accurate, complete and current.
Enforcement:
AHRM Inc. will conduct compliance audits of its relevant privacy practices to
verify adherence to our policy and will commit to cooperate with appropriate
data protection authorities, such as the Federal Trade Commission or authorities
located in Europe.
